The Yoga
At Sacred Horizons, yoga is approached as an inner practice rather than a physical discipline.
Rooting in the Himalayan tradition, we blend time-tested methods with a modern understanding of the nervous system and embodied awareness.
You will learn how to:
- feel safe beyond fear –
- release stress and anxiety –
- restore deep sleep –
- reconnect body and breath –
- expand your comfort zone –
- ground yourself –
- find inner clarity and direction –
Carefully guided movement, conscious breathwork, meditative stillness, and deep relaxation practices.
The Himalayan method is a systematic exploration of our whole beings, working across the
physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and blissful layers.
Sessions meet the body and mind where they are, allowing the practice to deepen naturally.
— a gradual return to presence and balance.

The Voyage
Practice unfolds across some of Africa’s most intact landscapes, in Tanzania.
- Wildlife Safaris –
in a rhino sanctuary - Jungle Hikes –
through protected rainforest - Majestic Waterfalls and Viewpoints –
above the Great Rift Valley - Ancestral caves –
ancient natural sanctuaries - White sand beaches –
touched by crystal blue waters - Coral reef snorkeling –
among thriving marine life - Cultural immersion –
and shared rituals
The retreat unfolds in four phases, each shaped by a distinct landscape.
Time is allowed for each place to set rhythm, attention, and experience.
- Arrival · Kilimanjaro
Orientation & Grounding
The journey begins beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. Open horizons slow the pace, offering space to settle, and establish a shared rhythm.
- Savannah · Mkomazi National Park
Simplicity & Perspective
In the remote savannah of Mkomazi, protected wilderness invites presence, attention, and a sense of belonging within a wider living system.
- Forest · Usambara Mountains
Depth & Inwardness
The path continues into the Usambara Mountains. Cooler air, dense forest, waterfalls, and shaded trails create a naturally inward phase, allowing practice to deepen and take root.
- Ocean · Zanzibar
Integration & Spaciousness
Water, horizon, and open light support integration and rest. Creating space for expansion, and consolidation.
A journey shaped by land, movement, and rhythm — held across evolving landscapes.
